Proverbs 10:26 (NKJV) — 26 As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, So is the lazy man to those who send him.

Do not send a lazy person. Just as people are annoyed by smoke in their eyes or vinegar on their teeth, so those who use a lazy person will regret doing so. Things of importance should be entrusted only to those who are faithful. Faithfulness is demonstrated in small things.

Luke 16:10 (NKJV) — 10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

2 Timothy 2:2 (NKJV) — 2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
