Proverbs 10:20 (NKJV) — 20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.

A valuable tongue and a worthless heart. The tongue of a righteous person is extremely valuable, but even the heart of a wicked person is worth little. How can a tongue be valuable? By speaking upbuilding, encouraging, edifying things and by not speaking hurtful things. How can a heart be worthless? By not harboring mercy or grace and by entertaining revenge, bitterness, and malice.
