Proverbs 13:3 (NKJV) — 3 He who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

Speaking right. When people learn to restrain their words, their lives are preserved. Those with unrestrained words invite destruction. This principle is certainly true spiritually, and in many cases, it is true of physical life as well.
