Today I had the privilege of teaching the adult Bible class at The Sanctuary UPC in Hazelwood, Missouri, where Mitchell Bland is pastor. We explored the relationship between Elijah and Elisha as a biblical model for mentorship. To mentor could be seen as another term for discipling, a responsibility the great commission gives to all believers.
